Privacy policy

This policy explains how Lukas Labs LLC (doing business as Fund My Rescue and BarkArt Company, "we") handles your information when you use Fund My Rescue (fundmyrescue.com, the rescue portal and every rescue store on it). We run the store, take payments and manage the mailing list. Each rescue store raises money for the rescue named on it. If you have a rescue portal account, we also keep your name, email and your rescue's details to run it.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name and email address, and your phone number if you give it.
• Orders: what you bought, your shipping address and the amounts paid.
• Your photos and artwork: the pet photos you upload and the artwork we create from them.
• Mailing list: your email and name if you join a list.
• Basic technical data: cookies that keep you signed in and remember your cart, and standard server logs (IP address, browser).

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.

How we use it

• To create, print, ship and support your order, and to email you about it.
• To calculate and pay the rescue's share of each sale.
• To send mailing-list emails you signed up for (every email has an unsubscribe link).
• To prevent fraud and keep the service working.

Who we share it with

• The rescue you support: if you join a rescue's mailing list or buy from its store, that rescue receives your name, email and the date (not your payment details or address) so it can send you its own updates. It may only use them for its own rescue's news, and you can unsubscribe from its emails at any time.
• Service providers that help us run the store, only for that purpose: Stripe (payments), Printful (printing and shipping, receives your shipping address), OpenAI (creates artwork from your photos), our email delivery provider, and Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage).
• Advertising measurement: some product pages use cookies and Meta's pixel to measure our ads. You can turn this off on our privacy choices page.
• When the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.

We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require (usually 7 years). Uploaded photos and artwork are kept so you can reorder, and deleted on request. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email using its link.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by calling or writing to us (below). Some order records must be kept for the law.
• Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state's privacy law; we honor them.

Children

Our stores are not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Security

We use encrypted connections, sign-in links that work once and expire, and limited access to personal data. No system is perfect, so we'll tell you promptly if a problem affects you.
